What can I store?
- Nearly anything!
- Your home contents (including the man cave) and personal items
- Sports equipment (Sports Clubs).
- Business equipment-documents, stock, tools of trade
- Various hobby equipment eg. musical instruments, pony carts.
What can’t I store?
- Yourself or your pets -you cannot live in your unit!
- Some antiques and art. (Talk to us)
- Hazardous or flammable goods
- Perishable goods
Storage Tips

Put down a ground cover or drain anything that may leak eg. Oil from lawnmowers
- Leave doors ajar on whiteware appliances
- Ensure that everything is 100 % dry as if not it may promote mould
- Do not move on rainy days
Security at My Storage
At My Storage we aim to protect your important possessions to give you peace of mind.
We are fully fenced with indivdual pin access through an electronic gate. Point to point beams, monitored by a local security company, are activated at night, and strategically placed in several areas of the Storage complex.
In addition, we have high-definition IP cameras operating 24/7.
Some units are fitted with an individual alarm.
You must supply a padlock. For your convenience, padlocks can be purchased at the My Storage office.
Vacation of your storage unit
2 weeks’ notice is required.
Your unit must be left as when you first moved in, clean and tidy.
Costs for cleaning, may be passed on to you.
Insurance
Any goods you store remain your responsibility.
We strongly recommend that you ensure you have insurance cover.
Short or long term Storage
You can store for any length of time that you choose. The minimum payment is one month’s rent.
Storage Prices
Our units are competitively priced and calculated based on the size of the unit.
Fees are charged on a monthly basis. All prices include GST.
My Storage Opening Hours
Winter 1 April – 30 September; 6.00am to 6.00pm
Summer 1 October to 31 March; 6.00am to 8.30pm
Office Hours 9-2pm Monday to Friday
How can I pay?

Payment is required before entry to your storage unit.
What if I don’t pay?
We understand that life can throw unexpected situations at you that may affect your ability to pay.
Please contact us if you are having problems meeting your storage payments. We are human too and would far prefer to work through issues with you rather than against you.
As with any business, we have debt recovery procedures and systems. We enforce these at the appropriate times and will follow through.
Can you recommend Furniture Removers?
Yes, we can recommend a Remover on your behalf, if required.
How do I arrange to rent a unit?
In some circumstances storage units can be reserved in advance.
Arranging a unit requires the completion of an Agreement and payment. You can move in that same day.
We are members of the SSAA (Self Storage of Australia )and this is the agreement we use. A copy of the agreement will be given to you.
