If you have your possessions stored with My Storage, chances are you will have some valuable items inside. Whether you’re storing extra furniture, household goods, or even inventory, it’s only natural to be worried about your belongings being secured. The biggest worry our clients have is, what if someone breaks into my container? And, how easy could it be?
Even though our containers are made of hardened steel bodies that are incredibly difficult to break into, My Storage is going the extra mile to ensure that your possessions remain safe. Hence, why we’ve recently tightened up our security measures. Our latest upgrades and technology not only protect your belongings but also help our clients have a seamless experience.
Lights, camera, action
If someone were to access your storage unit in the night, they’ll be greeted with our new Phillips SmartBright LED Flood Lights. In addition to our existing lights, our new floodlights not only shine more light but, they’ll ensure your assets remain protected. Think of it almost like a giant spotlight in a pitch-black stadium, there’s really no room to hide! The beams that cross the yard become activated if they are set off. A notification then is sent straight to our security company and the correct measure will be arranged.
Alarms
Our protective alarm systems have also been simplified and adjusted. Storage owners now have their own alarm system which features a keypad and a pin password of your choice. Our storage owners can choose to have their pin password as long or short as they desire. No more turning up to the yard and regretting leaving the keys at home!
Gates
We’re also currently in the processing of installing new security gates and the posts are up! Our guards will continue to open in the morning and close the last thing in the evening. The evening closure also includes a close monitor of the entire premise to check that nobody is locked in the yard or worst yet sleeping in a container, which is prohibited and more importantly not a lot of fun.
Oh… and if you’re keeping tabs on our storage containers in China, well there’s not much more to report. Our storage containers still remain on a wharf in China, but we’re glad to have upped our security game before they arrive.
In the meantime, My Storage is open seven days a week from 6:30 am to 6 pm till March 2022.
