Where are My Storage Richmond and My Storage Hope located?
Our new yard is at 128 Main Road, Hope. It’s conveniently closer for clients in the Brightwater and Wakefield areas. It is just that little bit closer.
Our existing yard is at 68 Gladstone Road, Richmond. It is located only 2 minutes from Richmond CBD and is also convenient storage for anyone in the Nelson region.
It is my first time storing? What should I know?
If you’ve never stored before, it can seem daunting, especially when moving. Here are some common questions to help you out.
Do I need insurance?
We strongly recommend contacting your insurer to discuss this. My Storage does not offer insurance. In over 20 years of business, we’ve never had a flood, theft, or fire. Some clients choose not to have insurance; it’s a personal choice. All units are on raised concrete pads, and we have strong security measures at both our storage yards at 68 Gladstone Road, Richmond, and 128 Main Road, Hope, to keep your possessions safe.
How easy is it to find My Storage Richmond? What are the yard hours?
Finding us is easy. Our office hours are 9 AM to 2 PM, Monday to Friday, and our sign is bright yellow. We share a driveway with a John Deere tractor sign, which is another helpful landmark. The gate is permanently open during office hours. Once you’re set up, you’ll receive a personalized pin number that lets you access the yard outside office hours. You can come in anytime between 6 AM and 6 PM in winter and 6 AM to 8:30 PM in summer.
